About the Journal

Journal of Women’s Health, Obstetrics and Gynecology (JWHOG) is dedicated to advancing knowledge and improving clinical practice in the fields of women’s health, obstetrics, and gynecology. The journal provides an international platform for the dissemination of high-quality research and scholarly work addressing health conditions that uniquely or disproportionately affect women across the lifespan.

The journal covers a broad spectrum of topics including maternal and reproductive health, obstetric care, gynecological disorders, infertility, menopause, adolescent gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, urogynecology, gynecologic oncology, contraception, and sexual and reproductive health. In addition, JWHOG welcomes research addressing mental health, chronic diseases affecting women, and health disparities that influence women’s health outcomes in different populations.

JWHOG particularly encourages multidisciplinary research that integrates clinical medicine, public health, behavioral science, and social perspectives to better understand and address complex challenges in women’s health. Studies focusing on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and health policy related to women’s health are of particular interest.

The journal publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, review articles, brief communications, and position papers that contribute to evidence-based clinical practice, inform public health strategies, and promote equity in women’s health care worldwide.
